MIND – Mental Health Charity with a primary aim of supporting people with mental health problems.  “We’re here to make sure no one has to face a mental health problem alone.”  I’m very proud to be a Member of Mind.

B-EAT – A charity that supports people with Eating Disorders.  They were instrumental in helping me get the professional support I needed and put me in touch with local Eating Disorder Support groups.

Rethink Mental Health – Mental Health Charity with a primary aim changing people’s attitudes of mental health. “We help millions of people affected by mental illness by challenging attitudes, changing lives.”

NHS choices website -lots of information, communities and resources.  If you haven’t visited for a few months – check it out, they have changed quite a bit.

Samaritans – By phone or email – support when you just need somebody to speak to, 24/7.

Education:

Mental Health First Aid England – Courses on Mental Health First Aid.

Eating Disorders Level 3 – Know somebody with an eating disorder, suffer with one and want to learn more about the spectrum of eating disorders and how others are affected, or maybe just interested and want to learn more about a condition that is largely misunderstood?  Then maybe take the plunge with a thorough course.

This is obviously a work in progress, if you know of any resources, please get in touch.
